10/02/2024  Thank you to all volunteers that made for a great experience. Great group of people.
08/10/2024  Keep trying to get pALS & cALS involved
08/14/2024  I'm just wondering if you've thought of having this event on a Sunday, as opposed to Saturday.

10/01/2024  The starting line is challenging for new riders as it is uphill. Even though I am an experienced long distance cyclist, I decided to ride the 25 mile route to be with my team. Many inexperienced cyclists had difficulty with the initial hill. I would suggest reminding cyclists they need to go single file at the top of the hill/turn and also staggering starts - allowing 10-15 riders to go at a time. Or better yet, can we reorganize the set up to avoid the hill??? Not sure this is possible.
10/10/2024  I thought the route changes were much improved over previous years. Thank you!

08/07/2024  more rest stops to mingle. talking to other riders was my big delight. camping together night before and after. I would like to see a catagory for riders that are not fund raisers. Maybe less overhead, and more riders included.

10/28/2024  10 mile route doesn't need 4 rest stops Need better snacks at test stops eg orange slices, banana s not just small cups of warm water. Mile markers More volunteers needed

09/30/2024  You did an excellent job organizing. I think the tents and chairs at lunch was really nice and very helpful as I was totally spent and not excited about sitting on the grass as in previous years. Please continue that tradition. No surprise but my favorite part of the ride was the rail trail. Maybe you can create a ride for those of us who are not bike geeks to do something like that to raise money and awareness for ALS.

08/07/2024  Overall, I think the experience was good. I would have liked a route starting at the pass and and going to Issaquah if possible. I felt the shuttle piece could be a bit more accommodating but overall was good.

09/30/2024  In the last rest stop there was a Jam with a high content of alcohol that had been donated. Most people couldn't taste it but as an alcoholic in recovery I really appreciated how they handled it. They announced it from the start as a heads up to everyone and made me my own peanut butter sandwich. They were so sweet about it and just wanted to thank them for communicating and dealing with that situation with care and respect, it means a lot. :) I really felt supported and appreciated! Thank you! If you share this with them, kindly don't include my name as I'd like to remain anonymous.

10/01/2024  better signage
10/08/2024  Steve Lopez did a wonderful job and is very organized and a great communicator via email, recap notes and texts. Everyone on the committee was super nice. It felt like a collaborative effort I loved being part of. I have been participating in the race for 13+ years..as a volunteer and my son and his friends rode for many years. My dad, Bradford Howard passed away in 2004.
08/11/2024  Give the slow group a bit more time to reach the top. Maybe some information about needed required pace, with a reminder at the rest area.

10/02/2024  This was my sixth year doing this ride. If I don't do it again next year, it's only because it's getting to be too much for me.
05/29/2024  I did not attend the in-person event this year and, therefore, did not experience lunch, but I can't skip question 15. So, please disregard that response.
05/13/2024  We need to improve our marketing for this event. We need more riders and we definitely need more corporate sponsors. Asking our friends and neighbors for $100-$200 each year isn't going to get it done. We have a great foundation - beautiful routes, lots of support - we can handle 300 riders easily. How do we get there??

08/07/2024  it would be good to alert riders that lights were helpful in the tunnels. I would have liked to see volunteer riders at crucial points on the trail for support and to make riders feel more comfortable that they could receive help if needed.
10/02/2024  It would be helpful if we can order meals for family members at the same time instead of creating different accounts for every meal ticket.
