We walk for Team Papa. He’s our family’s energizer bunny who has always spent his time being active and busy and helping. We walk to show our “Papa” he's not walking this alone. We walk to help raise funds for the services the Indianapolis ALS Association provides that could directly impact the people we love. We walk to raise funds to help find a treatment and a cure leading to HOPE in diagnosis for future people diagnosed. We want to help contribute to arming people with an ALS diagnosis with more than just a positive attitude to face this disease. We anxiously await the reliable treatment and cure of this disease.

ABOUT ALS
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis.
ALS can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease, yet it still costs loved ones an average of $250,000 a year to provide the care people living with ALS and their families need. Join the movement to provide help and hope today!
